0B5 Transmission Issues: Delayed and Jerky Shifting, RPM Lag, Vibration | AUDI

My 0B5 transmission (currently at 136000km) shifts (when full) with a delay and also jerkily both up and down. Noticeably more pronounced in the low 1st-3rd gears. At temperatures <0, it really slams from 1st to 2nd gear.

Now to the RPM. When I accelerate quickly (in any gear), the RPM needle doesn't keep up; as soon as I let off the gas a little, the needle visibly and audibly continues to climb another 2 to 3 increments (it's not the typical revving when the clutch is slipping and the car isn't moving forward).

When running at low RPMs, 1000-1400/min, a vibration is noticeable, followed by a noise from the transmission area, sounding like an overloaded power steering pump.

There have been no error messages so far.

Already checked

Symptoms described indicate possible mechatronic or clutch issues within the 0B5 transmission. The delayed/jerky shifting, RPM lag, and vibration at low RPMs are all potential indicators of these problems. Further diagnosis is needed.

Clutch was worn and mechatronics were leaking.

Have the transmission fluid checked for coolant. If coolant is detected, have the transmission overhauled and replace the oil cooler.

Thank you, I didn't want to think about that. I will have it checked soon and report what is all in there.

So, a quick update. The transmission oil was taken out yesterday and is on its way to the lab to see what comes out of it.

Test passed: no water or glycol in the ATF.

Then I would try to relearn the transmission. There should actually be errors stored.

I've noticed that the drive shafts are worn. The one on the driver's side has already been replaced. The rough jolting during braking or load changes is now gone, and the right side will be done soon.

What remains, and is very strange or atypical, is that the engine speed is slower than the car itself when I accelerate at full throttle, and when I suddenly take my foot off the gas, the needle may continue to move about 1.5 to 2 increments further, but it is not revving up when the clutch is closed.

As well as the slow disengagement of the clutch.

Perhaps the DSG update will help, has anyone had experience with that before?

An error has occurred, specifically "Crankshaft Synchronization Loss P191A." Does anyone know if this is related?
