Rene You should have a quadlock connector, which is also available pre-configured. You just need to check if there is enough space behind it. You can get it from Amazon and all Hi-Fi shops.

OpenMatthis K. Hello Hans,
If you want to continue using the original entertainment system, you will hardly be able to avoid using wire taps. I would use a simple high-low adapter, which you can get online and in any specialist shop. This makes retrofitting a subwoofer or an amplifier child's play. Depending on the quality, these are screwed in place and offer high-quality installation without any loss of quality.
You are welcome to contact me if you have any further questions.
1Hans P. Yes, I meant a high-low adapter, of course... But as I said, not with Scotch locks....
Hans P. Yes, exactly like that... But it feels different with the Opel IntelliLink.... And I haven't found an adapter for that yet
OpenMatthis K. What entertainment system do you have? Can you send me a picture of it? I'll check my table to see which adapter fits.
Gelöschter N. That is the one and only correct solution. Anything else is rubbish and a bodge job.
Frank M. You'll need a Hi-Low adapter to create an RCA output from the speaker outputs.
You'll need an amplifier, which you connect to ground and positive (12V) at the battery (with a fuse in between!!). To let the amplifier know when you turn on the ignition, you also need the control signal (remote) from the radio (e.g. switching signal for an electric antenna).
You can get the cable set from Amazon or, for example, from Mediamarkt or ATU. The cable cross-section of the power cables depends on the amplifier used. I think 10 square should be enough.
Then you have amplified the signal from the radio and you can connect the sub to the amplifier.
A conventional subwoofer has a positive and a negative pole, which is connected to the amplifier.
You can set the frequency range for the sub on the amplifier. This is the basic configuration for now.
You might want to check YouTube for a visual guide.
Good luck
Hans P. Thanks for your reply, but have you read my post and the other comments? I basically already know how to wire an amplifier and the cables and stuff are all there... I'm just looking for the right adapter for the Opel radio, because I don't want to connect the high-low adapter with scotch locks.
The problem is that these IntelliLink from Opel do not have the normal quadlock connector, but some other abnormality.
Hans P. It's the intelli link 4
Hans P. Perfect, thanks... It says something about: not for Intellilink radios, but I'll write to the shop anyway 👍

Hello again,
Searched for a long time and finally found it. You should be able to work with this:
