Dodge UConnect Navigation Voice Volume Issue | DODGE

On a Dodge with VP4 Panasonic Navigation System UConnect and Beats Audio sound system, the navigation announcement is sporadically very quiet. After some updates / start attempts / reset of the system, it works for a few kilometers. The navigation volume is at maximum, there are a total of 3 volumes in the system, this is also not set to "mute". The error occurs again and again. Do you have any ideas?

There was a broken wire in the connection between the radio plug and the amplifier.

Hello, I can well imagine that it is due to the radio or navigation system. Actually, the music should be a bit quieter when the navigation speaks so that you can hear it clearly enough. Reset the device to factory settings. If that doesn't help... Otherwise, contact the manufacturer.

The device has already been replaced. There, too, the current source is turned down at the front left for the driver, but the voice commands are super quiet. Even turning up the volume during the announcement only shows that we are at the maximum volume. The manufacturer knows no solution (FCA/Stellantis).

Was a filter or steering wheel control installed between the radio and the vehicle? Please have it removed. Usually a small black box…

Hi, steering wheel controls including Siri and CarPlay are standard. Nothing was retrofitted, only a tow bar. This was also removed electrically. I will test a new BCM and report back. Thanks

Disconnect the battery, then all control units will shut down, and then reconnect it... Maybe it will help.

We have done this several times, even connected the vehicle's positive and negative terminals after disconnecting them -> didn't help.
