Start-Stop System Issue on 1 Series BMW | BMW

Hello everyone,

Yesterday I tried to repair the start-stop system of my 1 Series BMW, but unfortunately, I failed.

I have already checked and replaced the battery and fuses, and checked all components to ensure they are properly calibrated and adjusted (gear and pedal pressure), but unfortunately nothing is working. The fault memory does not show any errors regarding the SSA, and the requirements were more than met yesterday, with no consumers active.

I have already found out that it is supposed to be a typical problem, but no one has a real solution.

Hopefully someone here can finally give me a solution.

Kind regards.

What exactly isn't working – the engine shutting off at traffic lights, or it starting up again?

Turning off the engine. The RPM changes slightly, but unfortunately nothing else happens.

Was the car battery replaced? Was the correct AGM battery installed? Was it registered in the Battery Management System? And fully charged? Are there any faults stored in the engine control unit? Or battery management?

Read out the fault memory if there are faults in the engine control unit -->Process<--. Kind regards.

Did you replace the battery without informing the battery management system? The new battery must be registered; otherwise, neither the charging management system nor the start-stop system will function correctly.
