Engine Stalling at Low RPMs | FORD

Hello community,

My girlfriend's car has a problem where it almost stalls at low RPMs. It doesn't respond to the accelerator and the RPMs drop drastically. We've also experienced this issue while idling. At higher RPMs and speeds, the problem is barely noticeable, if at all, but occasionally you can feel a dip. Whether it's warm or cold makes no difference.

Please help me with this problem.

Was it the PCV valve?

Check the vacuum hose below the intake manifold.... It likes to tear and then the engine draws in unmetered air.

Also, check or clean the fuel injectors. That helped our old Fiesta because it had been using E10 fuel for years. Also check the hoses to make sure a marten hasn't nibbled on anything and the car is sucking in unmetered air.

    Try cleaning the MAF sensor

Check the throttle valve to see if it is clean, clean if necessary, and check all vacuum lines

Did you replace the spark plugs, wires, and ignition coil with original parts? Ford is very sensitive to aftermarket parts. If possible, switch to OE parts.

Hello, the car was at Ford for error diagnostics, and they only said that the spark plug wires are from Bosch, that's the reason. But I'll check it out tomorrow. Do you have a part number for the vent valve?

If you give me the VIN, I can look it up for you sometime tomorrow and post it here tomorrow evening.

    Crankcase ventilation valve: 1702150

    Hose: 1674075

    Gasket: 1008086

Thanks a lot in advance. I'll look the things up and check them directly tomorrow.

You'll find the hose if you look to the right through the manifold; it runs from the manifold to a black plastic box on the engine block. The valve is located there as well.

It seems to me that a vacuum line is broken or the crankcase ventilation is gone.
